Tor Strand is a poet who grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He has been awarded a Summer Fishtrap fellowship as well as the Mari Sandoz Emerging Writer award. He was also selected as the 2023 Margery Davis Boyden Wilderness Writing Resident. Tor’s poetry and essays have been published or are forthcoming in Colorado Review, Salt Hill Journal, Santa Ana River Review, and elsewhere. He is currently an MFA candidate in poetry at Oregon State University.
