2014 Contest Winners Announced

We are pleased to announce our contest winners for the 2014 Annual Poetry and Prose Contest!

Poetry Winner: "Weregild" by Judd Hess
Prose Winner: "The Great Siwash Shoe War" by Mark Baumgartner 

Judd Hess and Mark Baumgartner will both receive a cash prize of $1,000 and their winning submissions will appear in Fugue’s summer/fall issue 47. 

A big THANK YOU goes out to this year's judges, Kevin Canty (prose) and Cate Marvin (poetry), as well as to everyone who submitted their work. We received a large amount of submissions and greatly enjoyed reading everyone's work with care. Please keep writing and submitting!
